Day 1 – Nov 10 Tuesday - Travel Overnight flight to Tel Aviv, Israel. (Remember you lose a day during travel because it is an overnight flight. You will depart North America on Tuesday Nov 10 and arrive in Israel on Wednesday Nov 11 –( If you go in day early you will depart North American Monday Nov 9 and arrive in Israel Nov 10 – we do this to get a jump start on jet lag!) Day 2 –Nov 11 Wednesday – Tel Aviv - Joppa Arrive in Tel Aviv and check into your deluxe sea view room in the 5-Star Renaissance Hotel with views of the Mediterranean Sea. If you arrive early enough, on your own you can explore the Port of Joppa where Jonah boarded a ship to escape from his call to Gentile ministry (Jonah 1:1-3), and where Peter stubbornly resisted God’s command to eat of meats that were not allowed under Jewish Law (Acts 10:5-23). Peter’s roof-top vision was God’s way to prepare him for ministry to the Gentiles. What happened here, in Joppa, had lasting significance for all Gentiles. Watch the sun set and enjoy a great view of the lights of Tel Aviv just over the water. Dinner included tonight at the hotel. Overnight in the 5-Star Renaissance Hotel with views of the Mediterranean Sea.
Day 3 – Nov 12 Thursday– Caesarea by the Sea – Mt Carmel – Gideon’s Spring – Ancient Boat – Sea of Galilee Enjoy a 5-star breakfast overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. On your first full day in the Holy Land, visit Caesarea by the Sea where Peter first presented the Gospel to the Gentiles and they received the Holy Ghost (Acts 10:1-8, 24-48), and where Paul appeared before King Agrippa and appealed to Caesar (Acts 23:22-35, 24:1-27, 25:1-27, 26:1-32). Drive up to Mt. Carmel where Elijah faced off with the prophets of Baal, and God answered by fire (1 Kings 18:17-46). From Carmel see the panoramic view of the Valley of Armageddon. Visit Gideon’s Spring, where his army was reduced to 300 men. Visit the museum to see the “Ancient Boat”, a 2000-year-old fishing boat found in the mud near the shore of the Sea of Galilee. Embark on a more modern boat to sail on the Sea of Galilee. Arrive at Tiberius on the Sea of Galilee. The Sea of Galilee! Dinner included tonight at the hotel. Overnight in the Leonardo PlazaHoteloverlooking the Sea of Galilee.
Day 4 – Nov 13 Friday Capernaum – Chorazin – Dan – Caesarea Philippi -Magdala An early start gets us to Capernaum for morning devotions. Capernaum is where Peter and his brother, Andrew, were called while they were fishing, and where Jesus did much of his ministry (Matthew 4:12-22, Mark 1:1-37, Matt 8:5-9:34, and Chorazin where Jesus did mighty works. Dan, the northernmost town in Old Testament Israel where Abraham passed while chasing the four kings of the north who had captured Lot (Gen 14:1-17). One of the golden calves was erected to draw worshippers away from Jerusalem (1 Kings 12:25-32). See the Abraham Gate. Visit Caesarea Philippi where Peter was given the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. Learn about “the Gates of Hell” (Matt 16:13-28). Visit the site of Magdala, the site of the only 1st Century synagogue discovered in Israel. Dinner included tonight at the hotel. Overnight in the Leonardo PlazaHotel overlooking the Sea of Galilee.
Day 5 - Nov 14 Saturday – Jordan Valley – Bet She’an – Gilgal – Jericho – Qumran -Ein Gedi Jordan Valley Drive. Bet She’an, where the bodies of Saul and his sons were hung on the wall following the battle of Mt. Gilboa (1 Sam 31). From Bet She’an we will drive south through the Jordan Valley. Visit the site of Gilgal where the Children of Israel made their first camp in the Promised Land. Lunch in Jericho. Descend to the Dead Sea, the lowest place on Earth at 1,300 feet below sea level. Visit En Gedi where David hid from King Saul (1 Sam 23:29), and Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Dinner included tonight at the hotel. Overnight at the Olive Tree Hotel in Jerusalem.
Day 6 – Nov 15 Sunday Davidson Centre – Southern Steps – Western Wall – Rabbinical Tunnels – Pool of Bethesda – Shiloh Jerusalem! See archeological discoveries at the Davidson Centre near Temple Mount. Worship to the Psalms of Ascent on the Southern Steps to the Temple Mount (Acts 3:1-10). Walk on the first century road. Pray at the Wailing Wall. Descend and walk through the Rabbinical Tunnels. Visit the Pool of Bethesda (John 5:1-9). Sing to the amazing acoustics in 900-year-old St. Anne’s church. After lunch, visit Shiloh, the capital of Israel and dwelling place of the Ark for 369 years (Joshua 18:1, 8- 10; 19:51; 1 Samuel; Ps 78:60; Jer 7:12-14). Dinner included tonight at the hotel. Overnight at the Olive Tree Hotel in Jerusalem.
Day 7 – Nov 16 Monday – City of David – Warren’s Shaft – Pool of Siloam – Herodian Street – Israel Museum. Descend underground to view the excavations of the City of David and Warren’s Shaft. Visit the Pool of Siloam, currently undergoing extensive excavations (John 9:1-12). See the Herodian Street. Visit the Israel Museum where the Dead Sea Scrolls are kept. Dinner included tonight at the hotel. Overnight at the Olive Tree Hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 8 – Nov 17 Tuesday – Mount of Olives – Garden of Gethsemane – Galicantu – Upper Room – King David’s Tomb See majestic and historic “Old Jerusalem” from your vantage point on the Mount of Olives (2 Sam 15:30; Acts 1:1-12). Pray in the Garden of Gethsemane (Matt 26:36-56). View the Kidron Valley. Visit Gallicantu, the palace of Caiaphas the High Priest where the Council judged Jesus. It was here that Peter denied that he knew Jesus and went out into the night and wept bitterly (Matt. 26:57-75; Luke 22:54-62). View Kidron and Hinnom (Gehenna) Valleys Stand in the Upper Room situated over King David’s Tomb. Valley of Elah and Askikah Dinner included tonight at the hotel. Overnight at the Olive Tree Hotel in Jerusalem.
Day 9 – Nov 18 Wednesday - Departure Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and depart Jerusalem for Tel Aviv Airport. Say goodbye to your guide and enjoy a safe flight home, changed by your educational and inspirational journey in the Holy Land. Never be the same.
Day 9 – Nov 18 Wednesday – Mt Nebo Drive from Jerusalem to Jordan, via the Allenby Bridge. Visit Mt Nebo, from where Moses was shown the Promised Land before dying and being buried by God in a secret grave. Continue the drive through the Wilderness traversed by the Israelites on their journey. Dinner included tonight at the hotel. Overnight at the Movenpick Hotel Petra
Day 10 – Nov 19 – Thursday - PETRA Visit Petra, the capital of the ancient Nabatean Kingdom associated with biblical Sela and Edom. Walk down (or take a cart (included)or ride a horse) through the Siq, the narrow canyon providing entrance to Petra. See the amazing colors of the city carved out of the rock. Visit the Treasury, the most famous and most photographed of all the buildings in Petra. Drive to Amman, the capital of Jordan. Dinner included tonight at the hotel. Overnight in Amman at the Marriot Hotel Amman
Day 11- Nov 20 – Friday - Amman Citadel – Jabbok River (Penuel and Mahanaim or Tulul adh Dhahab) Visit the Citadel, the site of the ancient Iron Age kingdom of Rabbath-Ammon and then drive off the beaten path and visit Penuel, where Jacob wrestled with the angel. Penuel sits across the Jabbok River from Mahanaim, where King David fled from Absolom and where he sat in the gate of the city awaiting news of the battle. Dinner included tonight at the hotel. Day 12 Nov 21 – Saturday - Departure Day Breakfast at your hotel before Departing to the Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) for your return journey home.
