Day 1 – Oct 30
Wednesday - Travel
Overnight flight to Tel Aviv, Israel. (Remember you lose a day during travel because it is an overnight flight. You will depart North America on Wednesday Oct 30 and arrive in Israel on Thursday, Oct 31.)
Day 2 – Oct 31
Thursday – Tel Aviv - Joppa
Arrive in Tel Aviv and check into your deluxe sea view room in the Tel Aviv Renaissance Hotel with views of the Mediterranean Sea. If you arrive early enough, explore the Port of Joppa where Jonah boarded a ship to escape from his call to Gentile ministry (Jonah 1:1-3), and where Peter stubbornly resisted God’s command to eat of meats that were not allowed under Jewish Law (Acts 10:5-23). Peter’s roof-top vision was God’s way to prepare him for ministry to the Gentiles. What happened here, in Joppa, had lasting significance for all Gentiles. Watch the sun set and enjoy a great view of the lights of Tel Aviv just over the water. You are free to experience top rated restaurants on your own.
Overnight in the Tel Aviv in the Renaissance Hotel.
